Editorial Help
Spare Change is fortunate to have a great deal of volunteer support; many of who are recruited through advertising volunteer opportunities in our newspaper. Volunteer opportunities include:

On-call reporters — to cover events and news stories. Requires Journalism, English, and/or writing background.

Editorial assistants — edit copy in our offices in Harvard Square. Requires editorial experience.

Artists — provide pen and ink drawings to accompany articles. Requires skill in drawing people, and other topics as well.

Your reporter Alexandra Cheng was very profession and compasionate while interviewing me and the printed article, I thank you!
The other volunteers at Sancta Maria were so impressed that they plan to put pieces of it in our News Letter.
Mary McHale, one of the founding members, told me that when the founders were decorating the house they believed that putting the statues on the landing sills would give the guests the comfort of feeling at home. She said that this article is the first written proof that the founders intentions had really worked.
I thank you and consider this a nomination for Alexandra to win a very special award.
