Originally started as a transitional housing assistance program, Travelers Aid Boston now helps at-risk and homeless individuals and families through the continuum of situations.
Transit:
Take the Red Line or Commuter Rail to South Station. Exit South Station from the Atlantic Avenue side of the commuter rail entrance (near the food court). Walk down the stairs (or use the ramp) to the sidewalk. You will see a traffic light just to your right at Essex Street. Cross to the other side of Atlantic Avenue and turn to the left, passing in front of the Plymouth Rock Assurance Building. Continue walking south, cross East Street, and 727 Atlantic Avenue will be on your right when you reach the end of the block (the building is at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Beach Street). The main entrance is on Atlantic Avenue. After entering, our lobby is on the first floor to the left of the stairs. Handicapped access is available around the corner on Beach Street. Follow the signs and ring the bell for assistance.
