Official Spare Change vendors are independent contractors off Spare Change News, but they wear standard pieces of identification so that you can be sure that when you're purchasing a copy of the paper, you're buying from a legitimate vendor.

All official vendors will display the following when selling the paper:

• A large Spare Change badge that includes the vendor's name and photo ID
• A Spare Change vest
