Spare Change is fortunate to have a great deal of volunteer support; many of who are recruited through advertising volunteer opportunities in our newspaper. Volunteer opportunities include:

• On-call reporters — to cover events and news stories. Requires Journalism, English, and/or writing background.

• Editorial assistants — edit copy in our offices in Harvard Square. Requires editorial experience.

• Artists — provide pen and ink drawings to accompany articles. Requires skill in drawing people, and other topics as well.
